So far my wife is okay with this. UPDATED: Beard existence proven.

A full beard when summer’s approaching? Good luck brother.
Obligatory SR20 rule callout.

Please report back on the efficacy of these products. Wife got me beard oil when my goatee was lengthy and it smells like machine oil to me, but does help with tangles and appearance a bit. I was torn between the benefits and the smell.
In a fit of madness I cut the goatee off and shaved smooth two weeks ago and instantly regretted it. Wife was rather unhappy as well, being a fan of the goatee. Working on rebuilding right now.

I like my bread but I get any length to it and I lose the battle to beard dandruff. I must be doing something wrong.

Might I suggest the Honest Amish line of beard products? Their beard balm (like an oil, but in a soft solid) is pretty good.

ooooOOOOOooooo what was it that smelled like machine oil? I may like that smell. I will report back. This is the second time I will have grown a beard. I am putting effort in this time to actually care for it. I did nothing last time and got rid of it after 4 months and having an epic driver’s license photo taken.

I will look into them. Thank you.

I have a beard expressly because I don’t want to have to spend the time shaving (or looking at myself in the mirror). These kinds of products would defeat that purpose.

Yeah, last time I had a beard it was cold and I got rid of it in March which was a horrible idea. Also what is this SR20 rule? This is what I think of every time I see SR20,

Good investment! I use Bearded Bastard products but I think any beard oil is good. I use it after a shower before I go to bed and a little before I head out the next day. Keeps my beard soft and less itchy/scratchy for the ladies in my life.

I recently got rid of mine for the summer.
I’ve been using balms and creams but never found one that I liked the smell AND consistency of.
Last few I had smelled of Carmex.

Come to the moist side. Move to the pnw. Perfect beard weather year round.

Only girly men complain their chin is too warm. The secret is to keep it wet, then it acts as a heat sink.

it is Oppo’s version of “Pics or it didn’t happen”

“girly men” ? Really?
Let’s not start measuring dicks based on beard presence or length, shall we?

What I’ve used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VGNZY88
Natural. Mild non-overpowering smell.

I would go that route but my beard grows in two different directions. The left side grows straight down but my right side grows sideways at 45°. I hate it. I am hoping I can kind of force it down.

Curlers? Or knock it down with some heat and pressure (hot towel)and brush it. I constantly twiddle with mine.

Finally took a picture of the product for your reference. “Temperance” by Can You Handlebar, obtained at some beard boutique in Dallas by my wife when traveling.
